Hey guys, this gentleman contacted me on another forum about doing a single stage correction on his Alpine White 1M. No before shots, but there were very light swirls present throughout, other than that pretty clean. Objective was to clean up the surface, remove as much swirling as possible, and punch up the gloss! Unfortunately it was very overcast all day so no sun shots, and white is hard to get reflection shots of while overcast.....so not my best photography work but you get the idea.

Products used:

  • Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner
  • ZEP Citrus Degreaser
  • CG Citrus wash
  • CarPro Iron X
  • Pinnacle Speed Clay
  • DoDo Juice Born Slippery clay lube
  • Menzerna SF4500 (85rd) on LC CCS Grey pad via FLEX 3401
  • HD Poxy paint sealant
  • Sonax glass cleaner
  • Optimum metal polish
  • Adams super VRT tire dressing

Damn nice work and a beautiful car + color

Sent from my SCH-I605 using AG Online

Looks good Brian.

The swirling must not have been very bad to start with. Suprised you didnt use something more aggressive than SF4500 on a gray finishing pad for a bit more correction work.

I can actually achieve quite a bit of correction with this combo. Speed 6 on the FLEX and ultra slow arm speed might surprise you. ;) Also, the increase in gloss and clarity is unmatched.

Hmmm. Interesting. Would have never thought of using SF4500 any thing other than ultra finishing capabilities.

The gloss and clarity is unmatched for sure.

Here are a few before/after shots of single stage corrections I performed using ONLY the SF4500/grey pad combo. Black Aston Martin and a Z4 MCoupe. The Aston paint is obviously softer and corrected quicker, but I was still able to achieve 90% or so on the Interlagos Blue BMW paint.

The after shots of the Aston obv arent sun/halogen shots, but I achieved 100% correction for the most part.
