Hey guys and gals, here's a Lemans blue 335i. This one was done the same weekend as the black CTS-V, as you will see it in some of the pics.

I was approached by a member over on E90post about doing a correction on his car. He's Military and spends a lot of time overseas, and the car sits outside for long periods of time. He was not only interested in restoring the paint to it's former glory, but making sure it was protected against the elements as well. After multiple emails, we settled on my multi stage correction and Opti Coating treatment. Good choice Mike!:buttrock

After I worked my magic on the paint, David of Pro Shield wrapped the front end in a Venture Shield clear bra.

Products Used:

  • Meguiar's APC
  • Chemical Guys Citrus Wash
  • Pinnacle Speed clay
  • DoDo Juice Born Slippery clay lube
  • HD Uno on LC PFW pad via FLEX 3401
  • HD Uno on LC CCS White pad via FLEX 3401
  • Menzerna PO85RD on LC CCS Grey pad via FLEX 3401
  • Optimum Opti Coat
  • Stoner Invisible Glass
  • Poorboy's wheel sealant
  • Optimum metal polish

After wash and clay, ready to get taped up for polish

Amazing job Brian!!! You've been doing a lot of sweet jobs lately. They're all stunning!

love those coupes, nice job bringing to where it should be. i don't know what it is and it's hard to explain, but HD UNO seems to have that look to it...

LOVE that color! Greatt Job! Love BMW 3 series coupes!

Wow I saw the first picture and thought OK, it's not that bad. Then after the next few I went into shock :) . You did a awesome job bringing back that BMW, I bet the owner is more than happy with the final product.

Did you notice much improvement after using PO85rd?

Alex, thanks for the kind words. It didn't "look" that bad, until I threw the halogens down onto the paint.......Doh!!!! As for the 85RD, absolutely. I have been using it as my final polish after Pinnacle's Advanced Finishing polish (which is GREAT too BTW) and it really takes the gloss to the next level. The shimmering, almost wet glass like appearance is all 85RD.
