Splatter with PC on 6 setting

Its because the pad is damp.

I thought that I had dried a pad well enought today and sprayed a mess around too. The pad was on the paint (75%) but still sprayed. spun out the rest of the pads after the wringing out in the towel exercise.

Better to clean the pad and make a little mess ONCE as a learning exercise than use a dirty pad.:xyxthumbs:

By the way, I am about done with WG TSR. Great product but too much dusting. I think that I am going Optimum.

That could be but I was "cleaning on the fly" regularly and I used 4 white pads and they all did the same thing. I am going to check the counterweight for tightness before I use it again.

I checked my counterweight! no problems there!

I washed the orange pad and dried it using a rotary polisher!( the amount of water that comes out is astonishing!!)

then tried it again on the DA and its rotating normally!

I'll try drying the white pad with the rotary polisher and then see what happens!

If you are not getting splatter until you are finished with your application/product breakdown and your DA is spinning at 5 or 6, simply turn the speed down to 2 or even 1 before pulling the pad from the surface.
