Spot correction of Guards Red Porsche

I'm in need of some advice. I have an area on my rear deck that is marred but have no idea how it happened. I hit it with Megs UP but that didn't do anything except make it shiny. I'm reluctant to try anything too aggressive on it because I understand it's pretty soft so anyone have experience with Guards red?

I haven't been able to get a real clear photo of the problem. I'll try to change up the lighting and see what I get.

I did a Cayman S a few months ago and I used HD Adapt with a cutting pad You can see everything that I did here

Nowhere near the cut of M105, HD Adapt would have the cut similar to Megs Ultimate Compound, but finishes like a fine polish. Where as UC would NOT finish down like a polish, especially not on soft paint. Its very pad dependant, so you can adjust its cut level by using different pads. For your Porsche, I recommend a green B&S pad with HD Adapt.

Try M105 on a polishing pad the follow that up with M205 or Ultimate Polish

I don't have guards red but mine is black (991), which is generally more soft and I can tell you that Menzerna SF4500 will be your best friend when it comes to finish out. I was getting marring with most other finishing polishes and once I used 4500, the paint was perfect. I paired it with Lake Country HydroTech pads (crimson) and it's a combination that I continue to use today. I still haven't found anything better.
