Spot Polishing

What are your thoughts on spot polishing swirls and micro-marring to avoid burning up clear on areas that dont need to be polished? And saving time.

Do it all the time,just watch your heat buildup if you work small areas

I do it too, I just clover leaf the spot instead of doing section passes over it because I just want to remove the defect more than anything not.. all the clear around it.
