Moving the shift lever out of park and cleaning the plastic in the shift channel. You'd be surprised how much soda, coffee, dirt, and dust gets down in there.

:iagree: Rear windowsIn addition to what others have already mentioned, during an interior detail there are a few spots that I feel can't go over looked. Both A, B, and C post. All astrays emptied and cleaned. Rear center arm rest let down and cleaned, all clothes hanging racks and handles, REAR WINDOW (believe it or not but I can't tell you how many Seem to have never been cleaned before), compartments on the rear of seats, and I also think opening to glove box and cleaning the surrounding trim makes a heck of a difference... Just my 2cents.
When doing the interior, I always make sure I clean the gas/brake/clutch/and E-brake peddles. This seems to be one area a lot of people miss. IMO, it really ruins a great looking interior detail when these items are not properly cleaned.
Top 1'' of the window. If you have a frame around the glass you need to roll it down to clean the very top.
One place I've never cleaned but did yesterday was behind the license plate and boy was it dirty behind there. Had to hit it with some m105 and m205.
Cup and change holders.
