Traditional thinking has been to NOT apply a sealant on top of a carnauba wax primarily because of poor bonding with the wax (oils) and the fact that carnauba is not as durable as a sealant and would compromise the sealant's durability. But, some recent products seem to be exceptions??
I see that Dodo has a sealant/detailer (Red Mist) that can be used on top of a wax or a sealant, or used stand alone. WG's Sealant Spritz is recommended stand alone or to boost Fuzion carnuaba and many use AW to top/boost carnauba, along with 4* Spray Wax (polymer with alittle carnauba).
The WOWA sealants (Ultima's PGP, Optiseal, ZCS) can also be used to top carnauba, although many say they dissolve the carnauba layer (it is not removed, just repositioned?).
I have tried many of these to top carnauba and they seem to work, i.e., look fine and seem to boost the wax's durability.
Just wondering what others have experienced or what their thoughts are. Just a point for discussion.
