What do you guys like and use and have tried as far as Spray on Wax/Sealant?

I have my vehicle winter protected with KAIO and 2 coats of KSG.
I am considering looking for a Spray wax to go on quick and easy(Spray and Wipe) to enhance the protection of the KSG after a wash. Is there a good product to accomplish what I am after, enhancing paint protection of KSG sealant?

Like spray on wipe a few seconds later type of application that delivers a good wax/sealant protection.
Is it worth my efforts to use a spray wax/sealant or should I just add another coating of KSG? I have the KSG wired and I can get it on and off pretty quick. I am wondering if a spray wax is worth it, time and protection wise?

...I do not care about shine or looks just protection....

The only ones I have used is Pinnacle and SCG nano. The Pinnacle leaves a very nice shine and a fresh waxed look. The SCG has a nice gloss but it is more of a sealant.

I've been using Pinnacle Souveran liquid spray wax. Works very well for me.

......what does,SCG nano stand for?....I can't find a brand on autogeek named SCG????

What measure of paint protection does it provide?
Will it enhance an under coat of KSG?
How long does it last?
Does it wipe right off?
Is it worth my time or am I better off just spending a little more time just adding the KSG?

I've been using Pinnacle Souveran liquid spray wax. Works very well for me.

Most spray waxes and selants will provide some protection and paint enhancement but for the most part they are temporary. I know for me it's a matter of convienience and the fact I can use them when it's under 50 degrees outside. If it's long term protection you are looking for then stick with what you are using. If you decide to get a spray wax or sealant you just spray on and wipe off with a deep pile microfiber.Just make sure your car is clean.

I've used Optimum but am trying out XMT, just to see how it compares. In talking to Mike Phillips, a person doesn't really need both a sealant & a wax; unless you're an obsessive enthusiast with a hot car (I added that last part). Mike told me that most people can use either a sealant or a wax. How long does it last? That's another Mike Phillips article.

I just went and read the write up on the pinnacle. That sounds like something I would like to try.
Do you think it would work well over the KSG? from what i read it would seem to.

I am still trying to figure out if I am better off with just spending some extra time just putting on the KSG.....after periodic winter washes.

keep the comments/advice/opinions coming.

Either Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax or Optimum Car Wax will be great choices. Griot's spray wax is pretty nice too, although doesn't last as long as the other 2. Optimum claims their product last 5 months (not in the NorthEast)....

Yeah i was thinking of using a spray wax during the winter when I have to do a 2BM shampoo wash to get the grime off. I very well could be in the 40's when I have to do this. What was that other product you mentioned? SCG Nano.... I can't find it?

It's full name is Surf City garage hot rod protective detailer. It's a good product but I would say when compared side to side for looks and gloss I like pinnacle better. I can't vouch for it's longevity because I have been using Utima waterless wash every weekend since it's gotten cold here. Either product will work well but AG has a better sale on right now.

Duragloss Aquawax great gloss and protection for paint and wheels. Does not require a dry surface for application.

I use and recommend Optimum. It's relatively inexpensive and it couldn't be any easier. You don't even have to wait to wipe it off. You just spray the panel, spread it over the panel with a clean/soft MF, then flip the MF over and buff to a shine. I can do the whole car in about 10 minutes and it looks great. You can use it like Doug said of Aquawax too (damp or dry).

I use souveran spray wax and it is my favorite but I always have a coat of nuba on top! On top of KSG the Dodo Red Mist works great! It will definately keep the KSG amped up in both gloss and protection!

I've used both Optimum Spray Wax and Pinnacle Souverän Liquid Spray Wax and these couldn't be any easier to use providing a great shine and long lasting protection. These are the perfect choice right after washing as a booster to your final wax....:props:

I like Prima's Hydro as it does a real nice job and looks darn good to.

Thanks All.,,,,
These products sound like what I am looking for and need.

Something to go on after a quick winter 2B bucket shampoo (to get the salt/road grime off) and rejuvenate the KSG.
