Ok I'm going to ask what may sound like a stupid question, so bare with me..
As far as coatings go: What happens to a coating if 1 were to apply a spray wax on top of it? From my understanding it would turn the surface characteristics into that of the spray wax and ruin the goodness of the coating, which is not good, right?
I could be completely wrong about that.

And if I am, forgive me, but if that is the case, would it be crazy to think the same rule would apply to a sealant/wax when it's also topped with a spray wax?
What is the great big difference? Besides the price you paid and how long the coating is said to last vs. the sealant/wax?
Is the cost the main and only reason why no one dares make the mistake of touching their coated finish with anything containing anything? Yet can afford to play around with fun products such as spray detailers, spray waxes, car wash shampoos containing waxes etc. when it comes to their waxed vehicles..
When I attended Meguiars 2015 product release demo I personally asked Mike Pennington a question about the new Paint Protect 365.. It was a question I had been wanting to ask someone like him for a long time and I finally remembered.
I asked, if I were to apply the 365 Paint Protect and after a couple washes I decide to use a spray wax like Ultimate Quik Wax or D156, would it boost the 365's protection? Or would it turn the finish into an Ultimate Quik Wax finish? His answer? "You'd probably want to leave it alone"
In other words, it's gonna turn into an Ultimate Quik Wax finish and you're not going to get the 365 day protection if you interfere it with something else...
I had personally found that out on my own prior to asking him that question. But hearing him confirm that, was to me exactly that, confirmation. And it made perfect sense.
