Spray wax after washing?

Wait - spray wax should not impede your protectant and simply add a layer to fill in gaps lost. Same reason to use reload or other products. I use as a drying aid and then to clean up any potential water spots or streaks as a finishing touch.

I've used OCW on top of 845 for years. I don't do it at every wash, which is about 1-2 weeks apart right now. Maybe every 3rd or 4th wash, so about 4-6 weeks between spray waxes. I find the combo works well together, and a couple applications can help take 845 through long Western New York winters. I feel the OCW helps to "top off" 845. My normal wash is ONR but have started lately using ONRWW and OCW, mostly to help (I hope) either maintain 845 or add more of sacrificial layer on top of the 845, to help between those long stretches when I can't wash.

Just to clarify, not all spray waxes are created equal. I was referring to a perticular situation and it wasn't my intention to make it sound as if all spray waxes are somehow not ideal for people to use as toppers or boosters to their existing lsp.

For example, Pinnacle, Blackfire, along with other current products clearly describe being perfectly compatible with your lsp and help boost its protection.

New innovative products change the game every year in this era of the detailing world. And that's a great thing we're all fortunate to be able to enjoy.

And at the end of the day if you're happy with your process, and it works for you, than who's to say it's wrong in any way?
Good day:)

BFWD polymer spray is hands down my favorite. Pricey but the best I've used.
