spray wax for door jams etc?

I use whatever I'm using on the rest of the paint, right now I have McKee's 37 Coating on one door & door jamb and Meguiar's Fast Finish on the other.

I just use any detail spray that is handy. I reach for UWWW+ sometimes when I am in a cleaning (rather than maintaining) mood.

Clean with Water-less or rinseless wash media.
Seal with Blackfire Crystal Seal, McKee s fast wax, or D 156

I use the XMT spray wax "new formula" and it works great.

Opti-Seal works great. I really like to use all the samples I get from AG on these areas.

I did a few cars with Meguiar's PP365 last fall. I was impressed enough that I did all the jambs and door shells of the family DD fleet. It sure helped them stay clean through the winter. Since you wipe rather than spray, it's easier to keep it off non-painted surfaces. A little more work is necessary than using Aquawax or D156, both of which I've tried, but you'll spend less time in the long run.
Also it's dirt cheap at $9.95 retail for a near-lifetime supply.

ok so duragloss aquawax and blackfire crystal clear dries clear? how about Meguiar's Synthetic X-Press spray wax does it dry clear for those hard to reach places?

Yup!Meguiars Synthetic X-Press spray wax or D156 is a must have as its just great on just about all it touches head and tail lights as well.

Never thought to use this on door jambs. Walmart recently clearanced this product at my local store and I bought 4 bottles for 10 bucks. Gonna try this on one of my door jambs today!

This.

On most moderately cared for cars, soapy boars hair brush, dry and top with D156 brings the jambs back to like new. Get carried away and use HD Speed for a quick polish.

I used to use CG V7 on my car as my up-keep QD. But when I went down the path of a silica based protection system, it got demoted to doorjambs and wheels. So that's my choice. If they're really bad I mix up a small bucket of ONR.

I used UQW or D156. But literally any spray wax will work.

This is after cleaning the jambs of course. I've done that with simple wash solution once, and waterless wash the second time. I might try to do a better job next time and get into the hinge area. There's more dirt/grease build-up there, so I'll probably use OPC and my spare Wheel Woolie.
