Spray Wax=obsolete?

Many thanks. Optimum definitely get a thumbs up from a technical perspective.
It is nice to see a company which can actually prove some of their claims!
^^^I agree...Quite refreshing!^^^

Foreword:
I also found the below text, included therein the patent's abstract,
to be most interesting...let alone being refreshing as well:

TO WIT:

"The use of surfactants as emulsifying agents in the preparation of wax emulsion/dispersions is known".

"The production of the emulsion/dispersion in the prior art is commonly carried out
using anionic, nonionic, and/or cationic surfactants, in a known manner".

^^^Sound familiar...^^^

Maybe I should have been a little bit more specific. I am sure a lot of people out there don't trust rinseless washes and therefore they will probably still use a spray wax.

On my black Lexus, the only spray wax that I do like is OCW. For some reason, it was much easier to apply then V7, XMT360, and ALMOST as easy as meguiars srpay wax. Since I have run out of OCW and want as little contact with the car's paint as possible, I have only been doing "rinseless wash w/wax " type of wash.

For rinseless washing people, is there much benefit from using a spray wax after a rinseless wash+wax? Sure it may not last as long, but don't most of us wash our cars at least once a week....or is it just me?

What I posted was from Dr. David Ghodoussi himself. He's a PhD Organic Chemist and he helped to create basecoat/clearcoat technology. He told me he's worked for some of the biggest paint manufacturers, like Dupont, PPG and Sherwin Williams.

Vegas Transplant posted the link to my article, take a look.

:)

Thanks Mike

Good to see some hard and in depth information
