I am loading up my cart... I have a great assortment, taking advantage of this sale, but I wanted to have an actual spray wax, not a quick detailer (already have a great one in my cart), but an actual spray wax preferably with carnuba that actually adds gloss and some protection to the car I can perhaps use while drying or whenever!

Any suggestions please? I was thinking this Optimum Car Wax is a spray wax made with real carnauba and synthetic paint sealants for protection & shine! high-grade carnauba wax and silicone or THIS 128 oz. Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray... but I really don't know - thanks!

The Optimum Car Wax is WAY LESS than tha Pinnacle Crystal Mist per gallon... will I be alright saving money and going with the Optimum spray Carnuba!?

- 2 gallons of Meg's NXT Generation Car Wash
- 2 gallons of Meg's Mirror Glaze Syn. Spray Detailer
- 1 Meg's Mirror Glaze #7 Show Car Glaze (no cleaners)
- 1 Meg's Mirror Glaze #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Paste Wax
- 1 gallon Optimum Car Wax

$154 without 15% Discount and Free Shipping!! I'm pumped

PS: Toss in your favorite idea or tip of something I shouldn't check out without if you want! :)

although i have yet to optimum spray wax i would go with it, everything i have tried from them has been wonderful to work with. spray wax is the only lsp i haven't tried from them yet. of the people that i know that use it they have nothing bad to say about it.

Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax is the only spray wax I have ever tried and I love it.

When I was my truck I generally use a QD spray after drying and then follow with the spray wax. I use the spray wax in the same manner as a QD spray.

I use a paint sealant in the Spring and Fall and use the spray wax to help maintain in between.

Thanks guys!

LAST QUESTION... please suggest a great/economical

- BUG/SAP REMOVER (something strong, we have a Jeep, but not so strong it removes all wax... again, like the wheels it could simply be something like a degreaser?)
- CHROME WHEEL CLEANER (by the gallon, doesn't have to be 'chrome cleaner' could be degreaser or anything like Meg's cause its cheap!)

Right now in my cart I have...
- Griot's Garage Bug-Off 35oz
- 1 gallon Griot's Garage Chrome Wheel Cleaner (but I can save a LOT if a degreaser or something similar is alright... my chrome wheels don't get THAT dirty!)

:)

*BUMP (sorry, not trying to be annoying, just want to make sure these couple hundred dollars are spent wisely!) THANKS! :)

Please see above (Bug/Sap/Tar removal, and a good wheel cleaner, if I ever need it, my chrome wheels don't get soiled so can I just use a degreaser or even the left over soapy water?)

My vote would have gone to Duragloss Aqua Wax but I'm too late. Speaking of, I wonder if I can obtain a 5 gallon jug?

Crystal Mist has nuba in it, but won't last as long as OCW, but then again OCW is not a quick detailer.

Just curious Bobby, have you ever tried Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax? It's my favorite, but I've never tried Optimum...

Hey Tad,

No I haven't. I was so impressed with a sample of Optimums Spray Wax and sometimes I still can't believe how well it shines and how easy it is to use.

I've been using several Pinnacle products lately and have been very impressed with their performance.

I have;

  • Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax
  • Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel
  • Pinnacle Signature Series II

The next time I place an order I'll order some and give it a try.

Hey Bobby,

What do you think of the tire gel? I just started using it and I must say; WOW it's become my new favorite:props: (even over opti bond and new formula DP.Which are both excellent products as well). I have a gallon of the Souveran spray wax, so I'll send you a taste. As long as I don't mix up the shipping labels, or accidently contaminate it with something else, or my dog dosen't eat it, or, or...etc. Anwyay pm sent.

Hey Tad,

I was actually blown away by the results with Black Onyx Tire Gel! It went on soooo easy and the coverage was great. I detailed my truck yesterday and did the tires with Black Onyx and man this stuff it great! To get in between the lugs I used a brush.

Initially it was super glossy but then calmed down just a bit and now it's absolutely perfect! I've got about 1/2 the sample size left so this will also be part of my next order. Man I'm going broke with all this good stuff!
