Srt8 yellow jacket

Very nice but today's cars are way overpriced considering that most of the parts are made in Mexico and China. I've noticed a couple of adds televised indicating $12,000 off MSRP..... Now how is that possible and still turn a profit? :dunno:

Don't get me wrong, if money was no object I'd have a new Dodge Hemi Challenger, Ford Shelby Mustang, and a Camaro SS in my garage....:props:

Given that Chrysler will announce that the Challenger will be dropped for the resurrection of the SRT 'Cuda; I would purchase one. While nobody can say with certainty that the Challenger will become a collector's car that may be worth money down the road, I'm already cutting down on the mileage on mine and most likely garage it more.

Even if it doesn't become a collector car, you can still enjoy a great car. I love my Challenger and all the attention it gets. I'm sorry to hear that Chrysler is going to resurrect a non retro 'Cuda but they did it with the Dart and Charger.

The reason for the 'Cuda is the Challenger cannot keep up with the Stangs and Camaros. One because of it's weight; two tons of fun. The other is they cannot go larger on displacement (6.4) without meeting emissions. Dodge should have stuck with the Challenger and incorporated either Supercharging like they did with the SMS version or turbo.

Good luck should you purchase one.
