I spilled a little on my paint and wiped it off immediately. While is looks fine, I'm curious if the grooves it crept into will be ok. I did not have a hose. Will the bike gloss paint and flat frame paint be OK?
 
I'd find a way to rinse it off/out with water. Get some bottles of water or something and douse the area where it was spilled.
 
I've also gotten gas on there without any adverse effects...
 
I work for Sta-Bil. It's petreloum based and overall should be less aggressive than gasoline. I personally would do my best to get it all off, but it probably will not hurt anything.

Thank you! I actually went back with two five gallon buckets of water, one warm, the other cold and smashed them in there. I also called Sta-Bill this evening and should hear back. 100 bucks says my answer was in the FAQ section. ;)

The rep said it would be okay but to try and clean it. Said it would wash away over time, regardless.
