Hi everyone!

I recently found some paint stains on the wheels and was wondering how would you guys tackle the issue. I tried rubbing a little metal polish to get it off but wouldn't dare to try harder as it fear it might cut into a gloss since I have gunmetal colour wheels.

Here's a picture of what I am talking about,

Any advice would be great! Thanks!!!

Goof off? Try it first on an unnoticeable part of the wheel

Might want to try the lesser of the 2 and maybe use goo-gone if not then perhaps try goof off or if you can get a hold of something like tarminator that is a great product as well.

I agree that looks like tar. A tar remover or other solvent should don the trick. With mild solvents AMD tar removers you can let them dwell or apply to a towel AMD place the towel over the stain for a minute or two to let to loosen.

Some good recommendations. What have you tried so far?

Tar can be removed with veggie oil if it is in fact tar. Another option would be 91% isopropyl which would also work if it is an oil based paint.neither of which would injure the clearcoat on the rim to my knowledge.
