so some of my white pads and some of my microfiber towels are stained but they are still clean. they are soft and plush but just stained. the pads feel the same as new but stained. am i losing any of the effectiveness in my microfiber towels and foam pads??

no you are not...things get stained...it happens...doesnt reduce the material unless you dont wash...try out pinnacles mf deturegent

the pinnacle one is the one im using actually hehe. it works great. the towels feel just as plush. when it comes to the pads i only got staining once i used pinnacle finishing polish. there is a very soft pink circle on the pad lol. i dont mind it i just dont want the pads/towels to be less efficient from being stained. but i guess it doesnt really make a difference.

as long as they are clean stains dont affect performance...

If your gonna use towels on the car, you are likely to get a stain or two. No way around it, other than "black" microfibers. (I just patented the idea)

Don't worry about the stains, my MFs have some light black stains from rubber trim on cars, and my wax applicator pads have stains from paste and liquid waxes.

Wash them before they dry, that will be the best solution.
