I thought it was safe to put on paint (jax wax super citrus) and now I'm left with these stains immediately after i wiped it off.

I tried meguiars waterless wash and wax, then tried polish on the DA, then tried again with wash and wax with heavy elbow grease, its not coming off.

The first pic shows its not that noticeable when no light on jt, but with light its very noticable.

what pad and polish did you use and how many passes?

Was the paint warm when you applied the APC? If the paint was warm, everything is expanded slightly (like when your skin pores open up) and the chemicals can be drawn in deeper to the clear. Then if it's cooled off and you're trying to polish or re-treat the area everything has "shrunk back down" and you can't actually access it anymore. I originally heard this analogy with bird droppings and water spots that are hard to get rid of.

Can I ask what the goal was when you were using it?

Is there anything i can do now?

Temp should of been the same, it was all within 10 minutes inside my garage.

I was trying to see if so crud that wasnt coming off would with the apc.

Im not sure what kind of pad I'm using it came with my DA, i think its 5 inch microfiber and i did probably 7 passes on it.

Maybe i should try megs ultimate compound?

I would think that if the staining/streaking was repairable, the seven passes you did with a microfiber pad would have taken care of it. Since it didn't, I think you are SOL as whatever caused the staining has permeated, and damaged, the clear coat beyond what could be repaired by polishing.

The next step I would do is inspect the defect areas with a 10x (or more) magnifier.

My mistake i didnt realize there were more than one picture.

My suspicion is the same as others, unfortunatly you might be sol

I've never heard that anything can go under the clear if paint is warm/hot and then lock once cooled.

:wowwow:

Was the APC diluted or used full strength? You might try a water spot remover such as the one from Chemical Guys. Some things only come off with a chemical decontamination.
