Started my sanding/buffing project

I'm watching this one my friend. I've never had a lot of luck with FG400 after wet sanding but I can see you certainly do. Keep the pictures coming.....
 
I love the fg400 for wetsanding. Best compound all around hands down I have used. It finished out nice enough that tomorrow I might go straight to a polish with the DA and a white pad. Going to do a test spot to see if my polish will remove the buffer marks. If not then I will use the fg400 with a orange pad on the DA then my finish polish.
 
Stayed up late and got it all done. Ended up going to straight to a white lc polishing pad with turbowax swirl remover/polish. Due to the lighting in my garage I was checking my work with a halogen light as I progressed. Still waiting for full on sun to really get some nice pics. I topped it with Victoria's concours red wax. Enjoy and sorry for all of the crappy cell phone pics. LOL

Looks great! How did you get the area around the emblems to match the rest of the paint? I haven't perfected that area of detailing yet, I get them ok, but yours looks great.

Thanks for the compliment. Patients, small pads and working those areas by hand to remove the sanding marks. I was careful not to get right up on the emblems.

That really is a fantastic job my friend. I can tell you have wet sanded successfully before. Like Phillips says, "do not wet sand where you cannot get a polisher" and you did that. Excellent work around the emblems and such. If you were to sell this car, what would be an opening bid?

Thank you for the kind words! With the performance mods and cleanliness I would say 15-16k. It does have 98k miles but is in great shape. Thanks again.
