Hey all!!!

I started on my truck today. It's a black 2005 Dodge Quad Cab (yes it's got a Hemi :D). The paint overall isn't in bad shape, I'm mostly cleaning off water spots and jewelling the paint. It's got some pretty deep scratches here and there, especially on the sides of the bed. I'm struggleing with the major scratches, I don't think I'm going to get them out with the PC. :( Anyway, here we go..

I washed using NXT tech wash, the 2 bucket method and my 2 Schmitts (wash and wheel). I dried using a MF towel, Crystal Mist, and a leaf blower.

I didn't need to clay because I had clayed the whole truck last week after washing it.

I started with the hood and front fenders, sorry I forgot to take before pics but here is one of the side showing the condition of the paint. I didn't think it was too bad...

I used XMT 4 with a green Edge pad on the tough scratches first, then finished with XMT 2 on the other side of the green pad.

I topped that off with XMT glaze and Souveran paste....

I'm pretty happy with the results.. :awesome:

Another hood shot...

And one of the fender, it's curved, that's why I look funny...

I spent some time on the bed but I had to stop because my pads were all gunked up, and my very fair skin was burning to a crisp!!!

Here's where I stopped...

Tomorrow I hope to finish off the doors, bed and tailgate, if my sunburn will let me ;).

Thanks, Dave

Yea its got a hemi ;) I wish i could say that haha

Looks good to me, it's black and black is very high maintenance.

Your doing a great job, looking forward to the rest of the pictures..oh by the way, your a short dude lol..teasing hahahaha...the fender picture was funny lol...

Thanks for rubbing in the fact that you're getting sunburn. I cut my grass today wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt...and what the hell...shouldn't there be some law of physics that prevents grass from growing when the temps don't get higher than 40 degrees? That's just wrong.

Oh...sweet truck! I've always regretted not jumping at the chance to buy my uncles '03 RAM. It was 1 year old with less than 7K miles. It was a fully loaded 4 door model (for his 2 kids) with a decked out chrome package.

Awesome job! All I see is a truck made out of Mirrors! Souveran Rocks! Put something on them tires!:D

Yeah I know I didn't finish the tires, I promise I'll spray 'em down with some Armor All foam tomorrow!!! Im the MAN

Thanks everyone for the compliments!!!

Nice work! I know first hand how much work those crew cab Dodges are!

Meghan, yup I'm in Orange Park, near Jacksonville.

Gary, that door hasn't even been touched yet, except for washing it!!! The paint on my truck is in pretty good shape except for chips, scratches, etc.

Thanks again!!
