Thought I would throw out a couple of pics. Finally started polishing my Harley this month. Using the 4" spot buffs with my makita cordless drill. Did a lot of practicing on used car, hood from a body shop and other junk before I went to work on my bike. Bike is 2 years old and has only been washed and waxed with several differnt products since I bought the bike new but after throwing some light at it this winter I could see all the scratches and swirls etc from two seasons of riding and abuse by the dealer that services it. Any way I have only done the right saddle bag, the right side of the tank and the right side of the fairing. Will move to the other side this weekend and then the fenders.
I am using PB ssr1 with oragne, then white and then gray pad, Iso wipe down and then Wolfgang DGPS (old formula 2.0 I think) I will add another coat tomorrow and then the next day add a coat of Fusion. That is my normal wax on this thing. When I head out for a road trip over the course of days or weeks I strip it down and use Duragloss 601, 105 and collonite 476s. That way the road grime and bugs etc dont destroy my paint while out on the road. I carry some DP4 in 1 and some microfibers that I can box up and ship home after I use them when on a road trip for Waterless washes if I get a chance.
Here is the right side saddlebag from top:
Same bag from rear:

Right side of fairing:
And a pic of the entire bike this past summer sitting in the work parking lot:
