Starting LLC process today

Did he file an S-Corp election for the LLC? If not, I recommend doing so. I did the S-Corp filing for my LLC (non-detailing business). Here is an article that might help with your decision. Biggest selling point is passing through some portion of the business income with no self-employment tax with the S-Corp election. I'm right in the same boat with you. I'm leaning on LLC right now with S Corp in consideration gathering as much information as I can.
 
I now have business cards, a yard sign, and have made a few decent sized orders. Bought a Mytee 60 extractor, Tornador Black, foam gun, Flex PE 8, a Paint Thickness Gauge, a ton of various products and more MF towels. Things are shaping up.
