I have a Chapion generator 499.00 at Costco ( makes more noise but runs on propane)
DeWALT air compressor 699.00
Tornador 150.00 Take the extractor to the junk pile Mytee was my biggest disappointment in my career
35 gal water tank 225.00
ShopVac 50.00 Amazon
Dyson vacuum 225.00
MiTM pressure washer pulse foam cannon 600.00
Is this over your budget yes. However I wish someone would have given me this advice when I started.[/QUTE]
Hope this helps, i have the exact same tank: Leg Style Storage Tank, 35 gal. - For Life Out Here
I just got a 100' reel for 67 on amazon/ebay and my 100' hose for a lil over $100 as well $20 for my whip (hose from genny to reel). Not chinese junk either. The hose we will see but reel is good quality and was actually from northern tool!If your gonna be committed to this for a while,100 gallon water tank with a gas powered Honda pressure washer no pump needed.Thats about 1000.00 plus hose and reel 400.00.Then get a gen for about 399.00.skip the steamer and extractor for now.just get chemicals and a polisher, this exceeded your budget a little, but I promise you your life will be easier. If you are gonna do washes you are not gonna want to waste your time with rinseless takes way to long on a moderately dirty car and for using a customer water is sometimes a pita.If I were you just starting don't even get involved with car washes you will make zero by the time you add fuel labor and chemicals.Get what you need above and seek a auto wholesaler you will make more then washing cars,or start with family and friends and your exposure being mobile will take you to the next level.
water tank is so needed,it makes detailing whole lot quicker.fleet acts are a great source of steady income, let's say you have 18 trucks to do ,you will take forever without a tank.when pulling up to residential client house your gonna waste time hooking up a hose and chatting with customer for 15 min,by then with a tank you could of washed the car already.need a tank.
