I was just getting all setup to detail used cars for used car lots. I was wondering what the best polish would be to use. I ordered some Griots to start out with. But im looking for bulk and cheap,just trying to shine them up for the lot.
Also i just got a mytee lite 8070. i was wondering what the best carpet cleaner would be to get? not to happy with the detail king stuff i got.

Not to sound rude or anything but you should really test out products and techniques yourself before you start going straight to car lots. I dont think its a good idea to try a polish youve never used before on vehicles that arent yours :dunno:
 
I would have to agree, before you charge or work on anyone's cars, work on yours and see what you like and what works for your goals. You don't want to experiment on someone elses cars, especially when time is money.
 
Find a chemical company in your area. If you can't find one seek out a distributor in your area to sell to you. If you plan on making money you can't pay retail and pay shipping. Buy professional chemicals in bulk.
 
I worked at a dealership and we used unichem and I really didn't like that stuff. I'm just shopping around for other chemical.

I agree with rustytruck.

Zep is a good cleaning line to seek out. Go online to find a local rep.
Also, google janitorial jobbers/products in your area, as suggested earlier.

Can't you get Zep stuff at Home Depot? And Megs sells by the gallon, so check your local auto paint supply stores for them
