I guess there is a lot thread like this but here is another.
In next few month's I plan to start car and bike care job.
I have read almost all that Mike F. wrote on the subject of starting.
Lot's experience on polishing freshly painted surfaces but poor on old paint cleaning and maintenance, waxing etc...
I have just few jobs done so far with clay,wax...
Any way, like Mike said my plan is to off few steps of car care
- basic
wash,dray,last touch,tire dressing
-more detail
foam wash, two bucket wash, clay and wax, wheel and tire wash and dressing
OOOPS I must hurry to the job
to be continued

O.K where was I
of course interior cleaning included in same order as exterior
and at the end
-detailing of the car or bike, after lot's of practice in previous steps

My main questions are about what to by for the start?
For now I have next
- for polish 3M paste,white,blue and purple
-3M foams in the same colors
-car-system small foams
- big rotary
- small rotary
-meguiars clay-mild,last touch,synthetic sealant 2.0,washing mitt
and that's about it.
So I want to make the best possible result in each step( basic, more detail ...)
What are your's suggestions?

-wheel brightener
-glass cleaner
-shampoo (nxt or some other)
-clay(have mild)

-last touch ( have one)
-tire dressing- endurance high gloss gel or aerosol
-dash and trim restorer

Thank you Ben.
Your site was also very helpful for washing type's.

Anyone else,what you use:xyxthumbs:

Everyone has their own way of doing things. When you have a little free time, go walk around your own car. Do a step by step of what you would use to clean each item. Start from the inside and work your way out, overlooking nothing (including that crumb that's stuck in the plastic next to the floor shift). Write everything down. Do the same with the outside, including getting the muck out of the center caps on the wheels. Write it down. Then come back here and fill a shopping cart based on the brands that you would like to use.....then pull the trigger.

Thank you Gary!
I am sorry if I am boring but it is very important for me to get good informations about products because it is very hard for me in Serbia to by good quality products and also the price is very important also.
My monthly salary is under 500$ and I plan to spend around 1000 or more(without products that I plan to sell to my customers) to get all I need to start my business,so hope that you all will understand me.
Thank you every one!

Not boring at all. Every person who has made a dollar detailing a car has been in your position, myself included. Mine is only a part-time business, but without asking questions I never would have learned anything, known what to buy or been able to avoid mistakes that others have made before me. Take your time, read the threads here. You will find a wealth of knowledge here and any number of people who will help you out.

Thank you all.
I have made my preliminary list (based on Meguiars products) what to by and it is around 1200$
There other manufacturers,brushes,pads...
I have made list of products based on big pack-bulk if I understand correctly where ever that is possible.
Sort them out in next order
-detailing tools
-pro detailing products
-mirror glaze car care
-random
