im starting to see marks/scratches/or swirls
well i mean when i look closely like my eyes about 3-6 inchese from the car pain i see lines and marks..
idk what im doing wrong..
my car is a 2012 civic
when i first wash her it wash by hand using the 2 bucket method
when i dry it i used meguairs ultimate quik wax
use to be so damn clean n nice after the wash but after a week or 2 or long i gave it another wash then i started to see marks.. a lil then then few more weeks later i wash it again then i starting to see more..
and yess i did used meguairs ultimate quik detailer one some of the days it rain..
right now i think the reason it cause this is it i need to get new microfiber towles??
can u guys tell me wat dryin towles and microfiber towles to use? please and thanks! noob here lol
 
Cobra products are of very high quality, which can be found on AG.
Also, investing in a cpl grit guards would certainly minimize the damage too. Hope this helps.
 
You might have some grit in your MFs. Check those carefully, I find doing so wet right out of the washer it's easier to find and pick stuff out.

Maybe too, the dealer used a strong filler wax to prep and it now wearing off.

Third possibility: No matter how carefully you take care of your car, over time a daily driver is going to get a few scratches that need attention. Might not be your process at all.

^^^^^That would be my guess as well. You could do an IPA wipe down or use body prep solvent to try to strip the filler, if a bunch of new swirls show up and you know it was not from you, then you have your answer.

The best microfiber products I have personally tried are from Chemical Guys.... extremely soft, fluffy and perfect for soft Honda paint which is so susceptible to swirls and maring. I highly recommend their blue monster towels, and the yellow miracle dryer towels.... I'm not gonna post a link because it's not allowed but it's on their website. All their MF products rock.
