Recently I did a 2002 malibu and a 2004 chevy 2500, I did a full steam on both cars. It's only a household steamer and I only use distilled water. I did both cars and had no problems except on the window switches on both drivers doors. These switches are black textured and after steaming there was some sort of white residue... the strange thing was that it didnt happen to any of the other switches on either car. I ended up using some leather conditioner on them as cg vrp didn't conceal it and apc+ didn't remove it. After conditioning it, I used apc+ to clean it again and the residue was gone. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
