Hi all,
Have a few Honda CRvs and civics in the family purchased in early 2000 that all seem to experience the same wear issues.
The steering wheel's 11 to 2 oclock position is some sort of soft urethane vinyl that eventually turn porous; turning the material into pencil eraser shavings the more you use it.
The rest of the wheel has some sort of rubber golf ball texture that flattens over time.
For those of you who have experience detailing such a wheel, do you have any cleaning and protection tips?
