I've tried that mate, no joy :/

It has to sit on the goo for a bit and usually takes several application/wipe offs to break down really old goo. A plastic razor blade also helps the process without marring your paint. Goo gone or 3M adhesive remover or the 3M citrus cleaner might work. I have all of them at my disposal but rarely had to use anything but WD-40.

I've tried that mate aswell as a few others. I'm not sure if it is very clear on the video I've out on but there is a slight mark on the right that looks like some paint has come away. The mark isn't like the normal adhesive that's left over, it's absolutely solid.

It's a bloody nightmare this is mate.

Heat gun or hair dryer, plastic razor blade and alcohol. Patience is the key to removing the adhesive.

It won't take much to burn through the clear so take your time. Heat, scrape, wipe with alcohol and check your progress often.

3M adhesive remover may help in softening the glob.

For the 3m adhesive or wd 40 I find if you soak a towel hold against the affected area for 15 minutes to disolve works best. Good luck

Gave this a go yesterday to no joy. I've put the badges back on for now until I have some spare funds to get it sorted.

You might have to polish afterwards but there is a 3M pinstripe removal tool sold here that worked to get the worst of my badge residue off after I got what I could off with WD-40. I replaced the badges so it was not a big deal if the paint wasn’t perfect, but I polished the paint anyway.

Rapid remover is pretty good stuff. Heat works well to soften it up and scrape it off with something plastic like a plastic razor blade .. or maybe even an old gift card or something.

I will give the 3M and/or the rapid remover a go but unfortunately it will have to wait until a later date as she is due a major service and some other bits and bobs.
