Hey geeks I have a newer challenger where the owner decided to remove the sticker from the sun visor and I would like some thoughts on which would be the best method to remove the residue without damaging the fabric.

Any help would be appreciated.

You might try some duct tape folded back on itself with sticky side out. Press it on the residue and peel back. IPA on a rag, but check for colorfastness. Good luck and let is know how it turns out.

That's a tough one if the fabric is attached to the visor with an adhesive as well. Any solvent could dissolve the visor solvent.
On a sensitive fur jacket I used an ice cube wrapped in a baggie and put it against the adhesive. It made the adhesive brittle and I was able to carefully scrape it off.

Steam should work too. I have never done it but I have read that steam is a good way to remove stickers.

this sticker is a tough one as it really was not meant to come off....good luck..steam sounds good...

1z deep plastic cleaner will take it off. Can you post a picture?

I agree, if you have a steamer then you are gtg. I have removed stickers from windows and from body panels using my steamer, no chemicals and no scratches..
