Well my car is five years old now and its starting to show, blew the motor up just shy of 100,000 miles, got a new motor with around 50,000 miles on it, runs great, but then a syncro went out in the gearbox so I no longer have 3rd gear, dont have the money to fix, as hard as I tried not to all four of my rims are curbed, last one thanks to the girlfriend, but not gonna go there, paint chips all over, peices on the inside starting to wear, and a few other things but its the only thing Igot right now so I still try mybest to keep it up. Just recenlty I polished it up and put a good seal on and took a bunch of pics, so I figured I post them. Hey it may not be in the best shape but it looks good all cleaned up.

Mileage climbing slowly but surely.

You can see some of the wear on the interior.

Blew up the motor at 100k miles? Japanese cars should last longer then that...but then again it depends on your driving style and frequency of vehicle maintaince...upgrade to synthetic motor oil and follow your recommend maintaince schedule...I saw this new Castrol Edge at local Walmart, and it is so tempting...I use Castrol Syntec and love it!!!

I think the motor blew cause I was close to an oil change and the level was low and I didnt realize it and bounced it off the rev limiter taking off from a redlight and that was all she wrote.

:iagree: I agree with Supercharged......Imports should last allot longer, I have 3 cars, one is a 1996 Nissan Maxima with 234,000 miles on it, Super Black and is still kicking butt on the wild side.....lol..... maintenance is the keyword !!

Yea, I keep up with the maintenance and use synthetics, but I have to admit in the past I drove it like it was a race car, down shifted into the wrong gears going way to fast few times, missed a few gears racing, topped it out once or twice for a couple miles, the governer stops it at 120 mph, tried to drift it, what can I say, I like to drive fast and have some fun, but I have learned my lesson, and Ive calmed down.

I am with ya on racing and having fun with it, I did the same in my Maxima, up until about the 180,000 point, then I knew I needed to cool it down a bit, but as of today it will still smoke the tires in 1st and 2nd gears and 3rd gear I get a little squeal ...lol......

is it lowered or do you just have a rather large system? Rear end is squating hard

Car still glows and for white that is good, most important thing is it gets you from A to B!

Yea its all fun and games till something starts knocking, I remember the day it happened me and a good buddy were playing car tag, just seeing who could keep up, then we got to a redlight side by side and well who can resist, he had a 350z, i had no chance, but I sure as hell wasn't going to just let him have it, so when the light turned green, I let gave it all the car had, and of course thats when it happned, and people always say I was stupid for beating on my car like that, but I dont regret one day, I had a good time.

Yea its lowered, its an eibach pro kit, 1.5 in the front and 1.4 in the back, yea the back sits lower, plus I got all my stereo in the back.

This is where I prefer Nissan over other Japanese cars, it's engine just lasts and lasts. I had a neighbor on the street when I was a teenager, he had over 240k miles on his 240SX and it the engine ran like crazy beast. Maybe that's why they have timing chain instead of timing belt. And if I was you I'd seriously consider that when you buy your next car. It also helps with resale value.

I just turboed my 2008 Scion xB. I only use Amsoil. We'll see how it turns out... Only 4,500 miles on it now.

I got them of tire rack, but Im not sure if they make them anymore, I know they don't make the style I have, you would just have to do a google search for them.

I think those would look great on my Mazda 3...... NICE..

May I ask were did you pick those up from?
