Still skeptical about ONR? *Video Added*

This is just a wash, but I thought it was worth posting...

Our Mazda3 has seen better days. It was awfully dirty from all the nasty weather we've had lately. I decided to not wash it sooner because I wanted to give ONR a real test :) So, for those of you that are still skeptical and haven't purchased ONR yet, you're missing out.

Please excuse the gash in the passenger rear door. That'll get attention in the spring. By the way, this car hasn't been fully detailed since last October. It'll get a full detail once the weather gets a little better.

Process:
2 gallons of water mixed with 1oz. of ONR for the wheels.
3 gallons of water mixed with 1.5oz. of ONR for the rest of the exterior. Normally, I would only use 2 gallons of water and 1oz. of ONR but since it was so dirty I wanted to make sure I had enough solution.

WOW. Good job. It's fun to see what can be done with ONR.
 
very appropriate test..very impressive results (not shocking for me though..I love the stuff and have used it on nasty surfaces too):buffing:

Looks great! I have a few questions.

Did you notice any induced swirls? I'm kind of worried that all of those gunk will rub on the paint like sand paper.

Did you pre-soak the car first with the ONR solution?

Can you use sealants/waxes like Duragloss AW etc after ONR without an IPA wipedown?

I didn't notice any apparent swirls or scratches. ONR does a great job of lubricating the surface when washing and encapsulating the dirt particles in your wash media. I didn't pre-soak any portion of the far. I just used more solution in my wash mitt. A couple of the pics barely show the sun in the panel, and as you can see, there are no signs of swirls.

I have 100% confidence in ONR so I don't really worry too much about scratching or marring the paint. I just make sure I use proper technique while I'm working.

Yes, you can use any LSP after ONR w/o doing an IPA wipe down.

By the way, the first time you use ONR you'll notice that your wash mitt gets to looking really dirty. Since ONR is made to encapsulate the dirt into your wash mitt, it tends to "stain" the mitt and make it look quite dirty. It's not something to worry about though. Just rinse it out real good after you're all done or you can even wash it out with some Dawn, or some regular car wash soap.

What medium do you use for ONR?
 
I like the cotton chenille wash mitts. I've used those, lambswool mits, and MF towels. the chenille mitts just seem to work the best for me.
 
ONR is The BOMB!
Tonya gave me a couple small samples of ONR! I've fallen in Love!
This is one Great product. I 'm goino to buy a gallon. Everything that was said in this thread is exactly how it worked for me. Thanks again Tonya!:autowash:
 
Yeah ONR is a great product. I just finished washing my car with it. I use it with a MF mitt, and dry with MF towels.
 
I beleive you guys.

I've tried quick and easy wash with similar results. However, I'll wait for the ONR to have somelike $10 off or 20% off for 2 days only before I buy, because I'm cheap like that! :D

I know I'm not!!! I just used it today on my car that wasn't quite as dirty as yours. I hate how our hatch areas get the majority of the salt, dirt, dust, etc.

Only things I am not sold on with ONR are wheel wells which I am a bit of a nut about and wheels. I have used it a few times and it's pretty decent but I feel like I need my pressure washer to really get the wheel wells and rims really clean. It makes a very solid QD though which I use quite often..

Hah!! great!!!

But thanks to the fact ONR is not foamy at all I'll stick with my clearance supply of Quick And EASY wash.
