Stoner Glass Cleaner...

I am trying to remove some clear film that is on the windows above the doors. I used Stoner (the aersol spray) and could not remove the film after 2 applications. I cannot tell if its on the inside or outside of the windows. What is this film and how do you get rid of it?
 
I tried Stoner for the first time, extremely disappointed. The product left a film on the glass which I am still trying to remove. I used a brand new microfiber towel to wipe, when back and used paper towels with better results but I can still see residue on the glass.

I found out years ago (before MF really took off) using a 100% cotton bar towel (or similar) works really well for 'that' final wipe/buff.

I use both ,Stoners and megs glass cleaner.Both work great.My wife does not like the scent of the megs so its stoners for her car,but for everthing else its megs!
