storing mf, pads, etc.

I was thinking of getting one or two of these for storing polishing pads, applicators, mf towels, etc. Would something like this be ok if placed in the garage. Wondering if it would keep the towels clean, protected from dirt, etc.

Cool. I know it will not be "air tight", but was hoping that it would be enough to keep them clean if I store them in the garage.

Only problem is that it won't be big enough!!! I've got 10 of the 29 qt size drawers on shelves in my garage and looking for more room even now.
 
Problem I have with mine is that the shelves begin to sag after awhile with the products. They tend to then all slide to the middle making the problem worse.

Yeah, thats why I put everything in little 4 oz. bottles. And reorganized that little cabinet so all the large bottles are on the bottom.
 
I like that idea , if it wasn't so late I would go get one tonite .
 
I just got some clear plastic containers with lids for 2 dollars at big lots, and I filled them up with towels/pads and just stacked them up on the shelves.
 
i got pretty much the same thing at Lowes for ~$10

it works great!! holds all my mitts, towels, pads, and applicators!

CANT GO WRONG!!! :D
 
i have a bunch of rubber maid bins... the only issue is every 4 months i need to get a new one for whatever reason...
 
I use two ofthe same items stacked one on top of the other. I only keep towels, wash tools, sealant/wax application pads and polishing pads in the bins. I agree as I also need more space. :D
 
For those plastic drawers that sag, you could cut pieces of thin plywood or other thin rigid material to fit in the bottom. If you have the tools and the time, that is. I need to get one of these myself.
