Ok so no matter what I do I cant get my windshield wipers to not streak when I use them...

When ever I use my windshield wipers they make cloudy streaks on the windows that disappear as soon as the wipers are turned off. This makes it difficult in heavy rain to be able to see at times as not only do I have to deal with the rain, but I have these cloudy marks on there... Now for whatever reason this issue is much worse with the wiper on the drivers side then on the passenger side. I would say that the drivers side wiper streaks about 95% of the window that it comes in contact with and the passenger side wiper only streaks about 15% of the window that it comes in contact with. Last weekend I thoroughly cleaned the windows using Stoners window cleaner and I used Diamondite clay on the windshield. I then applied Diamondite Shield to the window, however today driving in the rain has shown that the issue is still there no better no worse. I also replaced the windshield wipers during that same weekend with Rain-X Latitudes... I am not really sure what else I can do to make this streaking stop I am not even sure what is causing it any help with this would be great.

Your wipers may still streak cause there not fully seated to the windows they have a product called wiper snuggies that may help another trick would be to apply some silicone spray to the wipers

I don't think that is the issue as it did not do this when I first got the car and there is only about 16,000 miles on the car.

It could be, my brand new car needed the wiper arm to be reset after 11,000 miles. No problems before that.
Only half of the drivers side arm was making good contact with the windshield.

Since your car is like new maybe try going back to the wipers that's posted in the link then if the problem still there take it to the dealer they will fix the problem under warranty

Update...

So I decided to try cleaning the windows with white vinegar while this did not solve the issue 100% it drastically improved it... I think some more cleaning with the vinegar could resolve this issue 100%. I am assuming that this indicates that there is some kind of road film on the window..

My car did not come with those kind of wipers on it.. the OEM wipers are beam blades.

I see I understand now, and if the vinegar is helping keep with it though in the near future look into Pinnacle GlassWork Water Spot Remover it works very well removes road film, etc when used with a polisher

Thanks. It's crazy I didn't think it was needed... I mean when the glass is dry it looks crystal clear! Lol

I did... It didn't really do anything. I think there is some kind of film on there and my understanding is that all clay does is remove hard containments.
