Tough call. I would try a test spot and see how it goes. Older formula is solvent based and newer is said to be water based. I have personally used the older solvent based product over wax and sealer and had it remove the wax or sealer and work very well. Not sure how the newer version will respond. Try it and tell us. Feed back please

Ultima Paint prep plus works as a light polish
but also leaves behind a primer for the UPGP.

You do not have to use the UPPP.

If you don't then you should clean the paint
after polishing so the UPGP bonds properly.
