Stunning Metallic Black Audi RS7

[Justin at Final Inspection]

This Audi RS7 was back in the shop for it's yearly going over. This vehicle was in around this time last year for a much needed correction and detailing. This year it wasn't too bad but it was time to perform some minor correction and recoat with IGL Poly 1 year coating before he heads down to Florida for the rest of winter.


Wash/decon- Hyper wash, nanoskin fine grade towel

Wheels/tires- Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel, IGL Iron, LATA, Hyper dressing

Engine bay- LATA, hyper dressing

Correction- Rupes 21 Mark ll/swirl killer mini, Rupes yellow pad and 3D ONE

LSP- IGL Poly 1 year coating

Interior- Mckees fast interior detailer

Hahaha. Yeah it even looks green at certain angles. I believe it's called mythos black metallic.

I think it's called panther black, a really cool color in the sun. My car is mythos black and it doesn't have as much purple in it. Very nice job as always.

I think this car is mythos black. The metalic flake will throw off different colors in some lighting conditions. Panther black is very unique and unmistakable. When light hits it, there is a very distinct flash of the puprple from under the black since there is actually a purple base to the paint and not just the flake. Even in direct light you can see hints of the purple come through.

I can tell you that car is 100% panther. My car is mythos and does has some purple flake but no where near panther.

No pretty positive it was from Audi of Westwood Ma.
