So i made this big order but didn't realize that i totally forgot to order the machine to power it all...the PC 7424...such a stupid mistake!

Not sure if i am aloud to ask this but going to anyway...

Is their any retail stores that might carry this? Like a lowes or HD or anything else?

Thanks...

When did you place the order? PM Meghan and see if there is something that can be done?

Yep, try meghan first. otherwise, some HD and lowes sold them. they might be hard to find, but call around and Im sure one might have one. The 7336 is the same tool...Or wait and get the new UDM.

I've done this a few times where I had forgotten a few things, I phone Meghan up and it its not to late she add's the stuff I want.

If not you can look localy.

well i know its to late b/c the rest of the stuff i ordered is to arrive at my house today haha...

so now i guess i will begin to think of whether or not i will now get the PC or if i should now look at the UDM since its coming out shortly...if i could get on a pre order list for the UDM i would go that route right now...

I Vote Udm

I'll be on one of those pretty quick, myself, but it looks like there is some pent up demand--and it would be nice to have some feedback from users before dropping the cash.

Roadrunner--not sure where you live, but if you are near Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you can use my PC.

Does anyone know if the LC CCS pads are compatable to the UDM? Will the backing plate from the Lake Country complete kit also fit the UDM? Will the XMT line also be compatable to the UDM? Does anyone (Meghan) know if AG is putting a pre-order list together?

Like BlackCoupe said are there any further reviews or information on the UDM outside of the detail thread on AG?

Well it isn't out yet, so there aren't too many people that have used it. The adaptors are the same on the PC so essentially you can use whatever PC pads and BPs with the UDM. The first paqd company that got tested by David B at Autopia were Edge Pads and they got the approval...

Also roadrunner, check out Coastal Tools for a good deal on the PC if you go that route...

thanks for the replys!

i'm going to look into and talk to some poeple at AG to find out a little more about the UDM...i will also look are my general area to see if anyone is selling the PC...

if anyone else has any other information about the UDM that would be great!

thanks!

The UDM is going to be just like the PC, but with 20% more power being the key advantage. Likewise, the balancing is redesigned so vibration will be minimal.

XMT and all other pads that were previous compatible with the PC will work with the UDM.

does anyone know what type of price we are looking at for just the UDM?

149 You can find lots of info and a pic on the autopia website. seach that site or the internet for Ultimate Detailing Machine. There is a thread about 16 pages long.

PC 7424 is ordered and will arrive tomorrow!

i would go with the UDM but being that it is so new and only tested by so many, i choose to go with something that has been tried and true for many years now...plus this will give me experience with a DA and then in the near future when i have a garage to work out of i will either upgrade to the UDM or get a rotary and use both a rotary and pc on cars!

Good choice!!!

UDM sounds good but, I still like my PC and won't get rid of it until it dies!!! Anyways if I need more power I will just pull out the rotary.

I was gonna say, you can just buy the PC from AG by itself. I did, and got the HD version. Boy am I glad I did!

yea the PC will arrive tomorrow and in the near future i might do what you did hart and get a rotary to do most of the job and maybe finish with the pc...
