I did my car a 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback with Menzerna SF4000 and an Orange pad and it came out perfect. So I was feeling pretty good so I tried to test my wife's new Crosstrek and we bought it new so I have always washed by hand, so I did a test spot and the polish was really hard to get off the weather conditions were pretty close over the 2 days that I did them.

subaru's have very soft and sticky paint, mainly the blackish grey colour subaru has.

Different paint systems will cause variances between what worked before and what does not now.

Dial down your polish added amount and perhaps a white pad to get started. Also make sure you are working the polish long enough before wipe off.

thanks think I needed to work with the polish a little more.

Ask Mike stated, try a polishing pad and don't use too much product and make sure the polish is completely broken down. I have used this combo on many subarus with great results.
