We finally got a sunny day in South Western PA so I pulled my car out to check for swirls and marring.
For those of you that didn't read my other thread, this was my first experience with a PC XP and I had a heck of a time getting the paint to what you see below.
I had initially started out with M105, which made things worse. Then I tried M205 with a few different pads but the marring remained. I then tried Ultimate Compound, then the 205 again, switched out my cheap MF towels for some good ones and that did the trick. After the 205, I applied Blacklight with a dark gray pad, then Lava with a red pad and finally V7.
These are iPhone pictures but if you zoom in on the paint you can see that the marring that I battled is all but gone.
I haven't done the wheels yet. I'll be pulling them next week for a good clean and seal.
