Suction cup won't stick on the windshield.

if it's too cold the suction cup won't stick as its to "hard" and wont seal properly
as mentioned dampen the suction cup.. lick it and stick it.

Take a look at the mirror mount the Cincinnati Microwave sells for their Escort radar detector, maybe that'll give you some ideas on how to fabricate one yourself or, at least, know what you're looking for.
i'm surprised a mirror mount wasn't offered as an option for your camera, would definitely make usage more flexible.

it looks awesome but I have a problem. I have to remove the mount every time I get out of the car. I didn't want to leave it there cuz thief would love to steal.....

is that like clip thing to hold the dash cam? The size of dash cam is less than one inch height and about 2.7 inches long. Will it fit?
