I've used Megs Gold Class Wax on my dark-red car with good success. After applying the same wax to my new Honda Accord which has Biege-metalic paint the color turned notably darker and the color appears to have shifted to the green spectrum. I must say that we liked the paint color better when the car was first delivered (prior to the Gold Class wax) from the dealer. I'll keep using the Megs wax on my other care but not the Beige one.

Can you recommend a Wax and/or Sealant that will protect the paint on a new car while as the same time not darkening the color? Right now all options are open! Thanks.

Try fuzion it's a carnuaba/sealant hybrid it will make that metallic pop.

while all the other waxes recommended are high quality and have a large following, you should check out maxwax as well. It has a lower price point than the others and is a great all around wax.

Wolfgang Concours, Four Star UPP, or Menzerna Powerlock.

Collinite 845, Duragloss 105 or Detailers Pride Poly Coat

I think it's possible that the paint could have darkened with another type, or brand of wax. It went from beige to green

I think it'll grow on you :xyxthumbs:

I wanted to thank everyone for the recommendations. I was planning to try some of the Four Star products. AG - Note that the Four Star Kit is currently out of stock!

Thanks again
