Love Autogeek, but hate the styrofoam. It would be great if I got paper packing by default whenever I place an order. Currently I have to request paper packing and when I forget, I get that f&^k#$ Styrofoam. Thanks.

I wish they would change to those inflatable bags. That's gotta take up less room in the warehouse than the peanuts.

I agree and no matter how hard I try, I spill them somewhere on the floor. Use either bubblewrap or those bags

Fact is they protect the products very well. AG's new packing stations exclusively use paper. I'm betting there will be more damage issues with paper.:dunno:

its very simple, use the comments box for whatever stuffing you prefer. No matter which one is the default someone would get made.

I've put down in the comments to pack with paper on my last two orders and still got styrofoam, both times :(

On my last order I forgot to put down pack with paper and got ..... Packed with paper anyway!

I actually did get the paper when I asked about it.

Thanks!!!

Is the styrofoam cheaper to package with? I wonder if this is the reason?

I love packing peanuts. I have a big box full of them that I use when I sell stuff on ebay. Much safer than paper for most all items.

I agree, There has to be a way to record preferences, like a check box you set and forget,

why does it matter so much. pull your goods out of the box, toss peanuts that fell out back in, slap a piece of tape across it and toss the box in the garbage

Same here!
Although they could be a pita some times they protect the product very well and it only takes a few seconds to clean it up and toss them.

I do like the air packs though, use them at work and they sure save on space

Shippers have the ability and talent to destroy just about anything and everything...and typically do! I've had two orders literally destroyed so badly by UPS that they've sent them back to Autogeek before they've gotten to me!!

Personally, I want the packing that will provide the best protection for my products. :props:

u would think ups would like anything that could translate to better packaging material . not saying ag packs bad . foam peanuts or paper filler . ups must get so many claims against them for bad handling I'm sure they would like to save some money too . while I hate the peanuts just give me best packaging . I've had a few broken bottles arrive , product leaked out ... ups prob pretty rough on it . however all the bottles of whatever , placed inside a paper bag that really does nothing IMO , if it bottle cracks product is still gonna get sloshed around ? paper bag may contain it a little . I'd say my broken - cracked bottles are a result of careless handling by ups and also because order was packed with bottles and everything flat on the bottom of box , peanuts filled around everything. no type of packaging material on bottom so when the box hits hard on the floor there is no give there. but then again ag always takes care of it and replacement is on the way .
