Hi all - I'm looking to order a good polish/swirl remover. I'm looking for something pretty aggressive to get rid of swirls on whatever happens to come along. I have XMT 1 that I can use to go back over if necessary but would prefer something that is strong but finishes well.

I'll be using a Porter Cable.

I was thinking either...

XMT 3
PB 2.5
or something from the Menzerna line (but what?)
Other suggestions welcome.

cant go wrong with optimums polish
:iagree: I've heard lots about Optimum Compound and Optimum Polish.....all good!
Personally, I love Menzeran SIP and PO106FF(Nano Polish). Haven't had any problems with excessive dusting yet (knock on wood). Going to purchase Menz PowerGloss next. It's the most aggressive Menz that AG has. If you do have problems with too much dusting with Menz, just add a drop of OP to the pad. I've tried it both ways and haven't had a problem. Now, I haven't tried it in "full sun". I'm outdoors, but with a maple tree for some shade. So it's usually half sun/half shade for me.

Menzerna SIP seems to be the favorite of many, but boy is it expensive. Is it really worth the difference in price?

ive Noticed That Too About The Price . It Seems Anything German Is Exspensive

You're right, it is expensive. I bought it when it first came to AG and was on sale.
But think of it this way........
XMT3 (12 oz) is $14.99 = $1.25 per oz
Menz SIP (32 oz) is $44.99 = $1.40 per oz.
Not that much difference. Personally, I think it's worth the difference. I have both XMT and Menz.

I think everyone should have 106FF, its AWESOME! For a more aggressive polish, SIP is nice, but doesnt always finish SIP ready. PB SSR2.5 is also a good choice along with OP Compound.

106ff is the one that is expensive, i still cannot justify the cost.
