I am getting ready to do a full correction treatment to my Porchce Panamera. I am planning on trying out CarPro Essence and was wondering if anyone has ever had success with using a sealer/wax with it as I am not too sold on Coatings just yet.

Reload by CarPro is a good companion for Essence.

Carpro Reload, Gtechniq C2v3 and similar silica spray sealants are good matches.

I would also expect pinnacle black label synergy wax to work well.

The conventional wisdom is do not top a silica based product with non-silica based as you will negate the beneficial properties of the silica product. Since Essence is a bit different than other silica based products one has to ask, are there benefits to Essence you would not want to negate by adding a traditional sealant or wax topper?

Since I have never used Essence before and was really impressed by the results I have seen here on the forum I wanted to give it a go while I am still learning about coatings before I pull the trigger. I'm not a pro, just a guy that likes to work on my cars. So more than likely due to the price point that coatings carry, I will get a small sampler of CQ and practice on my waverunner or something until I feel more confident in how to successfully apply any coatings.

Sidenote: I just saw a detailers website showing a full correction with CQuartz Finest for $5k!?!? Is that for real? Is it because you cannot buy it OTC?

IMO:
Since Essence is an AIO...
It shouldn't be necessary to
top it with a Non Coating LSP.

I suggest Reload. I have been wanting to try and top it with Collinite 845 to see how it does.
