I told a buddy I’d help him coat his new to him BMW M3. He however just mentioned he has some “light” scratches in his bumper cover... he then sent me pictures, ggrrrr.

Anyone have experience with BMW bumpers, I assume the paint on plastic bumpers is thin, and it’s German so hard. I’ll probably just try to soften the edges as I’d hate to burn through.
 
If they catch a nail, I'd think he's pretty much stuck with them.
 
Dr. Colorchip touch up or a complete repaint if they are through the paint and to the primer/base.

I’m just coating it for him, not body shopping anything.

Sorry Paul, the question I asked was “Anyone have experience with BMW bumpers” not how do I fill gouges.

I was looking for some idea on paint hardness, and experience of people polishing BMW bumpers. I never asked a question about touching anything up.
