So the month of July was a tough one for me as for some reason my health just didn't want to cooperate...long story short i wasn't able to wash any of my cars in July. My wifes care was the worst and this morning i finally went outside to clean it.

After cleaning the front wheels i noticed this. Seems like brake dust/contaminants just found a way to bed into the finish of the wheel.

I'm thinking some optimum metal polish and a mothers power cone...but i'm not sure if that's a good idea or not or whether it'll damage the finish on the wheels.

I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Sonax wheel cleaner and adgitate with a bores hair brush.

Sent from my SGH-T889 using AG Online

Sonax, ironx, and clay. Most likely one or a combination of the listed will get rid of that

Wolf's Deironizer. It's just as good and cheaper then Sonax and Iron x

I do have some wheel cleaner in my basement that I guarantee will take that off with just rinsing after you apply it but I have to silence you after I let you use it. Has Hydrofloric Acid base. It will clean anything. I can put about 1/2" in the bottom of a spray bottle and the rest water.

But to clarify using Optimum metal polish is a BAD idea correct?
