Sully's Detailing: SL 550

This is a new client that my GF got me lol. Anyways, i started the car at 11:30 and they needed it back by 3:30. The car needed, Full Interior as well as a full Exterior Detail. I did not have time for all this in the time frame he gave me so we decided on a full interior and wash, clay, and wax the exterior.

Interior:
Leather Cleaner: Wolfgang
Leather Conditioner: Wolfgang
Misc: Leather Brush
All other interior surfaces: DP Interior Cleaner and Interior Dressing
Window: Megs Detailer Line Glass Cleaner
Carpets Mats: DP carpet and Upholstery Cleaner (Shop-Vac, Hose and Brush)

Exterior:
Wash: Megs Deep Crystal and Poor Boys Super Sud mix
Wheels: DP Wheel Gel
Tires: Megs APC 4:1 and Hyper Dressing 3:1
Exhaust Tips: P21S Polishing soap
Clay: Pinnacle
Clay Lube: Pinnacle
LSP: Souveran Paste

It was hard to see the difference of the interior pictures because everything was so light.

Thanks I spoke to the owner after I was finished. He decided to wait a couple of weeks and get the car fully corrected. The paint really needs it. It has only seen automatic car washes But that has changed

I was kinda shocked that the owner did not want much detailed on the MB. When we do what the clients ask, then the get shocked and want more of their vehicle done next.

As for the automatic car washes, that is where many people have their vehicles done at here in deep south Texas. I get to correct those vehicles after THOSE PLACES mess then up. he eh

Sully if you are prepping your mats with a brush and aggitation try adding some baking soda to the mat after you first begin to scrub. this will take it to the next level and get out the stains (particualry on the fibers used on Mercedes carpet) ! A cup full per mat is about the right amount. I will typically use 2 punds per vehicle for moderate to heavy stains. Also this will lock up some of the Juice / Coffee / Soft drink residual and make it easier to remove during extraction.

The owner did want it corrected, but there was not enough time. The car was really dirty because they just got back from SCand the needed the car for an event or something.

Very Nice! My wife has the same color interior in her Mercedes. That white carpet is a PITA to keep clean. After I brought the car for her the first thing I did was replace the white floor mats with OEM black mats. I still have the white new white mats put away somewhere.

Ya it is horrible. The leather gets dirty easily to as well as the rest of the white in the car.
