Good old thread coming back, still love my Maui's!

I love my $10 walmart polarized for detailing and my oakley m-frames for driving. The $10 ones are perfect for eliminating glare while buffing and allow you to see everything on the paint during inspection.

I'm in the wholesale optical business and could have dang near any of the previously listed frames. Instead I just wear Rx polarized G15 lenses with back side AR and front side Blue flash mirror coating in a frame I got out of the junk drawer in our office. :props:

I'm for the Maui Jims. I bought a pair on Maui around 8 years ago when my other ones fell in the water from a snorkel boat as we were leaving port. Their customer service and lenses are superb, the lenses really cut out the glare. I broke one of the ear pieces after 3 years; I sent it back to them and they fixed it for free (minus shipping). Now after 8 years, my than 2 year old grabbed them off the table at a restaurant and threw them on the floor and chipped a large piece out of a lense. I sent them back for the $60 lenses replacement plan, and it appears that they just sent me a brand new pair. They are expensive, but worth it with that kind of customer service. :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:

I dunno, maybe one day I can tell myself I can spend $100 on sunglasses...but that day is not today. Right now I'm using a $10 of Panama Jack's from Wal-Mart, aviators they are. Apparently they look huge on me, but I like em. But I'm going to get a pair of Del Sol's. Right now they're half price, $25 bucks I believe. And you get a warranty card that if you ever break them, or lose them, send $10, check what sunglasses you want (even a more expensive pair if you feel like being "that guy") and they'll send them out to you, no questions asked. My buddy has a couple pair, and I used a pair for a week. The tint had kinda come apart on one lens, but it didn't bother me, they fit well, and they blocked out the sun. I can't ask for much more out of sunglasses.

Maui Jim's have the best lenses IMHO. Awesome for driving. Great glare cutters--especially here in Texas. Look to spend at least $170. Cannot bang 'em around though--at least the wire templed ones I have. If you do ruin them, Maui Jim will give a full replacement for $60.

Hawaiian sun is a killer(no pun intended) my wife and I have been wearing Maui Jims for 20 years, you can't beat the glass polarized lenses or warranty.
