Superbowl food/drink prices....

Really not any worse than would be expected from a professional football game. Watching from home has so many benefits though, I've only been to one NFL game.

And their commercial says "Together WE make the NFL"!! Haaaaa, yeah looks like they really care about their consumers...STUPID

They charge that much because they can get away with it.

I expect in my lifetime that the NFL will go pay per view, well, if there's anyone still watching the game at that point as its really watered down now. If its "close" to being helmet to helmet the player is fined, even if no penalty is called, stupid!

I agree about the reason they charge that being because they can get away with it too. I thought it was going to take a woman in the booth calling a game or doing color to make me NEVER watch the NFL but the current rule changes and more to surely follow will beat that travisty to the punch!

Supply & Demand

The Beer and the Players are worth exactly what someone is willing to pay them

I suspect that over time the tax code will continue to be revised to the point that people that use sporting events as entertainment for clients and then write it off as a business expense will no longer be able to do so. At that point things will change dramatically.

Kinda proves that the NFL believes that all the people with possible brain injuries, are not down on the field of play.

5 years from now the NFL will be touch football. NFL needs to watch rugby a bit. Or the players need to grow some b*lls.

People paying $2500 for nosebleed section probably wont complain about the $12.00 beer.

Ah, professional sporting events. The only place Where you can drink $40 worth of beer and drive home safely.

I've gone to concerts at a couple of different venues out that way and the prices are, sadly, not that far off.
